Anyone who has realised

that we have as a species,

destroyed nearly

all that is good in this world,

has cried a little.

Anyone who has struggled

with their perceived helplessness

and inability to change

the ways of the world,

has cried a little.

Anyone who has tried

to open others eyes to

our creation of

hell here on earth,

has cried a little.

Anyone who has figured out

ways to save the innocents

from dying, but isn’t

heard in the wilderness,

has cried a little.

The red eyes of the many

who have cried,

don’t move the souls

of those in power

even a little.
