Playing as a Rabbit

In the woods

Growling like a gruffalo

In the snow

Grinning as the grinch

In the village

Neighing like a donkey

At the fairy queen

While you just wondered

What I was at

And what was it for

It was for joy, fun,

Imagination and love

And mostly it was for

The High Field

Of my ancestors.
