THERE SHOULD BE NO BILLIONAIRES There is no reason to have any. Most of their wealth should be seized and redistributed. And the bullshit of he earned it, it is his, should be analysed, how many people were stepped on for him to get where he is? All the human and environmental cost of his spending should also be analysed and he should be taxed for it. Most of the human contribution to this climate crisis has been by a tiny percentage of this world’s population and they should be made change their ways first and foremost before the rest of us are guilttripped about our carbon footprint which was a term invented by the petroleum industry to push it back on the consumer. If the goods and services were made in an ethical and environmentally safe way in the first place then the consumer would not have to be fretting over the plastic content in their shopping trolley because it wouldn’t be there in the first place. If you have billions, if you have millions, if you have hundreds of thousands, you should be using it to help the world not adding to the destruction of it with your mindless consumption that you think you’re entitled to because you are RICH and therefore ENTITLED. What complete and utter BULLSHIT! The Planet is Dying! Millions of people are in warzones, living under oppression, dying of hunger. Species are going extinct at a rapid rate. Our seas, rivers and lakes are polluted. Our soil is overworked and depleted of nutrients. We are in the middle of a biodiversity and climate crisis. We are where we are because of a few selfish pricks wanting to piss their money against the wind for a laugh and short spurts of adrenaline while ordinary people are trying their best to do the right thing. Imagine having all the money in the world and thinking I’m off to space before the other rich guys get to and sending videos down to us all telling us our dying planet is beautiful and when he was a boy he used to dream.
